PGA 52 kick drum microphone, cardioid
A high-performance microphone optimized for low-frequency percussion.
The targeted frequency response is smooth and wide. Tuned specifically for kick drum applications.
The cardioid pickup mode picks up most of the sound from the front of the microphone and also picks up some from the side. It is less affected by feedback at high volume settings.
The dynamic microphone head has a basic, rugged coil. Handles extremely high volume levels without distortion.
Microphone heads with neodymium magnets are suitable for high output levels.
Internal shock mount reduces gripping noise.
